A Note From Dave Runyan

In the spring of 2007 we (Runyan Media) opened the doors to our first real recording studio. I have been working towards this goal ever since I was 14 years old. For the past two years I was recording live concerts and events for artists from all over the country as they came through Northern Michigan. Many of the bands that I worked with on live recordings asked me to work on their next studio CDs. That was cool but .........I didn't have a studio! So my wife Monique and I sold our house, purchased some land in the rolling hills of Antrim County, and built a new house and recording studio. Having the studio on the same property as the house has helped to keep the overhead down as well as make it easier for me to be available for the "strange hours" that musicians seem to keep. I am a musician as well and know the lifestyle and challenges involved in working day jobs while trying to get a band up and running. I can usually make it to a gig or a practice of yours to meet you and see what your styles are so I can have a more clear idea of what I can do for you. If you are a solo artist or songwriter/singer I have experience in sequencing and arranging as well as access to some of the best musicians in the area that love to help out. It only took 29 years to get my own recording studio since my first wish to have one and there is only one thing I would like to say bout it....
